Minor Flood Warning for the Tully and Murray Rivers

Minor flooding is easing at Euramo on the Tully River, and nearing a peak at
Murray Flats on the Murray River Friday afternoon.
No significant rainfall has been recorded in the Tully and Murray River
catchments since 9am Friday. No further significant rainfall is forecast for
Minor flooding is easing along the Tully River.
The Tully River at Euramo peaked at 6.73 metres around 06:00 am Friday 19
January and is currently at 6.48 metres and falling. The Tully River at Euramo
is expected to fall below the minor flood level (6.00 m) overnight Friday into
Minor flooding is occurring along the Murray River.
The Murray River at Murray Flats is currently at 7.15 metres and steady. The
Murray River at Murray Flats is expected to fall below the minor flood level
(7.00 m) overnight Friday into Saturday.
