    MODERATE FLOODING LIKELY AT BARRINGUN
     Flood water from Queensland is expected to cause minor to moderate flooding along the Warrego River in New South Wales from mid next week at Barringun, reaching Enngonia from next weekend, and Fords Bridge Bywash from mid March.
     Moderate to major flooding is occurring along the Warrego River in Queensland.
     Predictions are preliminary and more detailed forecasts will be provided once peaks are observed at upstream locations in Queensland. In Queensland the main flood peak is nearing Wallen and rises have been observed at Cunnamulla.
    
    Warrego River (NSW):
    Moderate flooding is likely along the Warrego River (NSW).
    
    The Warrego River at Barringun No. 2 is expected to exceed the minor flood level (2.80 m) mid next week. The river level is likely to reach the moderate flood level (3.80 m) next weekend. Peak predictions will be made once upstream peaks have been observed.
    
    The Warrego River at Enngonia is expected to exceed the minor flood level (2.00 m) next weekend. Peak predictions will be made once upstream peaks have been observed.
    
    The Warrego River at Fords Bridge Bywash is expected to exceed the minor flood level (1.70 m) from mid March. Peak predictions will be made once upstream peaks have been observed.
    
    Flood Safety Advice:

     * Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place.
     * Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
     * Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
     * Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.}
